Skin Care
Help
It's sad, but far too many people dismiss the fact that they're
damaging their skin on a regular basis. Whether they realize it or
not, proper skin care
is imperative for anyone who plans on looking nice for any extended
amount of time. As the years fly by you'll certainly notice your
skin going through a few changes. It's not as tough and resilient
as you may think. It's up to you to make sure it gets the
nourishment it requires. This entails proper cleansing,
moisturizing where needed, and protection from the sun's damaging
UV rays.
Let's think about your current skin care regimen. How do you
cleanse your face on a daily basis? What do you use to scrub away
that dirt and grime? Well, hopefully it's not a bar of deodorant
soap. This stuff was meant for the skin on your body. Not for the
delicate surface of your face. You need a separate gentle cleanser
to get your face clean. Something that will rid your mug of dirt,
oil and make-up, but without stripping it of all its natural
moisture. And once this step is complete, you'll want to follow up
with a moisturizer for dry areas. It's best to apply these
immediately after padding your face dry. This way the moisture is
soaked right up. Now, these are just basic
skincare tips that everyone should follow. In addition
to these practices, you always want to make certain you use tepid
water, as opposed to hot. Once again your skin will be stripped of
its natural moisture if you use scorching water. This can lead to
further skin problems such as eczema.
Skin Care and
Sunlight
The sunlight can be your worst enemy. One of the mandatory
skin care rules you should follow is
"USE SUNSCREEN." Something with an SPF of 15 or higher is
recommended. The truth is nothing is more damaging to your skin
than the sun's powerful rays. They cause premature ageing and
wrinkles galore. Finally, when it comes to skincare,
please don't forget what smoking will do to your precious
complexion. If you want to look really old really fast, then I
guess smoking is a habit for you. Take care of your skin; you'll be
glad you did in 20 years. No one said you have to be young to be
beautiful.
